Editorial Board Member Publication Policy

Policy on Publications by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Members

General Principles:

The editorial board of the Casting Processes journal adheres to international publishing ethics standards. All publication decisions are made transparently and independently.

Publication Procedure:

• The Editor-in-Chief and editorial board members may submit their own articles to the journal.
• Such submissions undergo the standard peer-review process, including double-blind review.
• An independent editor with no conflict of interest is appointed to handle the submission.
• Reviewers are selected from external experts who are not part of the editorial board.
• The final publication decision is made by the independent editor after receiving reviewers’ reports.

Principles of Independence:

• The Editor-in-Chief and editorial board members do not participate in decision-making regarding their own submissions.
• All manuscripts are evaluated solely on scientific merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with ethical standards.
• Conflicts of interest must be declared and eliminated at all stages of the process.
