License agreement regarding the procedure for publishing in the "Casting Processes" journal
The journal "Casting Processes" is free and does not charge fees for submitting and publishing articles. The work of the editorial board and reviewers is unpaid volunteer work. The financing of publishing activities is carried out with the support of the Publishing House “Academperiodics” of the NAS of Ukraine.
The journal ensures free publication for PhD students (third level of higher education) who are funded by the state budget.
Please submit your manuscript as one file by e-mail or use the submission tools of this site, having previously registered and logged in to the site as a user.
You may use this recommendations as a template to prepare your submission file. It will quicken publication of your submission.
Title
Name(s) of the author(s)
The affiliations and address(es) of the author(s)
Abstract should have 1800–2200 characters. The abstract should be informative and full of substance. Please do not use any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references. The abstract should be understandable without reading the paper.
Keywords: 4-6 items.
The texr should not exceed 10 printed pages (excluding figures and tables). Please use MS Word (*.doc). The text should be typed in Times New Roman 14 pt font with 1.5 intervals without word warps. The number of figures and tables should not exceed 5 and 3 respectively.
Use internationally accepted signs and symbols (SI units).
Title should inform about the content of the paper in a condensed form. The title should not exceed 12 words. A full research paper should have following components:
- UDC index
- Title
- Name(s) of the author(s)
- The address(es) and affiliations of the author(s)
- The e-mail address, full telephone no. of the corresponding author
- Abstract
- Key words (indexing terms), normally 4–6 items
- Introduction
- Material and Methods
- Results and Discussion
References are provided in accordance with the sequence of references in the text (according to Scopus requirements).
Tables
Please use the table function, not spreadsheets, to design tables. Tables should be self-explanatory. Tables are placed in the text just after its first reference. They should be mentioned and numbered consecutively (e.g. Table 1). Please provide an informative title at the top of the table.
Each column should carry a brief heading. Tables will be reproduced in the journal as presented in the final submission. Please do not insert huge tables, which cannot be fit within the page margins. Details of statistics and description should be disposed beneath the table body as a footnote. Use asterisks for significance values and other statistical data.
Figures
Photographs and figures should be prepared in colour at min. 300 dpi resolution. Пам'ятайте, що після розміщення в додатку MS Word їх неможливо зменшити або збільшити, оскільки вони втрачають якість зображення. Caption must appear beneath the figure and should make the figure sufficiently understandable apart from the text. Lettering and symbols should be explained in the caption and only exceptionally in the figure. Figures should be of good quality.
References
The list of references should only include published or accepted works that are cited in the text. Personal communications and unpublished works should only be mentioned in the text.
The names of all authors should be provided. Please use the standard of APA – American Psychological Association (www.crossref.org)
Submitted articles will be subject to double-blind peer review process.
Please prepare your manuscript carefully to minimize correcting.
The read proof copy should be signed and dated by the authors and sent back to the editorial board within nearest three days.
The editorial board reserves the right to reject the paper with unsatisfactory quality of material presented.
